1st Bridgestone Store service center opens in P.R. in June

Bridgestone North Latin America, through its subsidiary Bridgestone Costa Rica, announced the upcoming opening of the first Bridgestone Store service center in Puerto Rico, slated for June 2016.

The store will be located in Hato Rey, opening in partnership with Correa Tires Distributor, the company said. The new 2,500 square-foot service center will offer a full line-up of high-performance tires for cars and trucks.

“In Bridgestone we feel very proud to launch this important Service Center in Puerto Rico. This [island] represents the largest market in Central America and the Caribbean, which is why we’re making sure our mission of giving our society quality services through the surge of positive buying experiences and the introduction of new technologies and innovations that have placed us as the leaders in the tire market worldwide,” said Bridgestone North Latin America President Daniel Benvenuti.

Meanwhile, Erick Herrera, Bridgestone Country Manager in Costa Rica, said Puerto Rico has a large vehicle pool/fleet in the “High Performance” and “Ultra High Performance” segments.

“With the inauguration of this Service Center, we hope to increase the market participation and maintain the growth that positions us as the most important company in the [island] and in the region,” he said.
