AGC selects island for its ’15 annual convention

The Associated General Contractors of America has selected Puerto Rico as the site of its 2015 annual convention, to be held Mar. 17-20 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center. Puerto Rico beat out Phoenix to win the group’s business, which will generate an estimated 5,870 hotel room night reservations and $3.5 million for the economy, the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau said.

“At the Bureau, we feel extremely pleased that Puerto Rico has been selected as the site host of such an important convention. The AGC will enjoy the excellent facilities offered at the Center as well as the infrastructure and high technology on the island’s,” said PRCB President Ana María Viscasillas.
The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau will be collaborating with the AGC Puerto Rico Chapter to coordinate details of the future event.
