AON employees and the kids from the two nonprofits had a day of fun earlier this month.

AON, a global provider of risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and human resources solutions and outsourcing services provider, recently brought together its employees and their families to celebrate its “Global Service Day” in Puerto Rico.

Each year, Aon calls on its staff around the world to dedicate their time and talent to strengthen and impact the communities close to where they live and work.

In Puerto Rico, a total of 25 Aon employees donated more than 200 volunteer hours delivering joy and staples items to several nonprofits, including Casa de Niños Manuel Fernández Juncos and the El Hogar de Niñas in Cupey. Each of these institutions is responsible for offering shelter and protecting homeless children or their relatives.

The volunteers were given the task of cleaning green areas and carry out recreational and sports activities with the boys and girls. They also enjoyed a barbecue and refreshments prepared and donated by Aon employees.

These activities confirm Aon’s commitment to Puerto Rico and its people, the company said.
