Saks Fifth Avenue’s future location will occupy 100,000 square-feet of retail space as one of The Mall of San Juan’s anchors.

Saks Fifth Avenue, which is opening its first store in Puerto Rico and the 39th in its chain at The Mall of San Juan on Mar. 26, will be launching a special social media campaign entitled “La Gran Entrada” (“The Grand Entrance”), to celebrate the “vibrant spirit and aspirational essence of Saks’ new home.”

The video campaign features Puerto-Rican native and model María Del Mar Rosario and frames designer brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Mary Katrantzou, Roberto Cavalli, Emilio Pucci, Erdem, Carolina Herrera, Antonio Berardi, and others, against Puerto Rico’s “lush and culturally exuberant landscape.”

To complement the “La Gran Entrada” experience, Saks Fifth Avenue is also sponsoring a contest through which it is offering a chance to win a weekend getaway for two to San Juan with United Airlines. The winner will get a three-day, two-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton San Juan and a $1,000 gift card to Saks Fifth Avenue at The Mall of San Juan. Contest ends Mar. 26.
