Condé Nast puts St. Regis Bahia Beach on ‘privileged’ list

The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort recently received the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2013 for the second consecutive year, a recognition granted to 25 destinations in the Caribbean chosen by the trade magazine’s readers.
Among the awards, the Hotel St. Regis Bahia Beach was recently given the distinctive 5-diamond award, presented by AAA as one of the best hotels in the world, and in Condé Nast Traveler, among others.
“We are very pleased to have been recognized by the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler magazine and its readership. This award recognizes The St. Regis Bahia Beach as the favorite place to vacation of the discerning traveler and experienced and we are very proud to have been selected,” said Terry Bechtold, general manager of The St. Regis Bahia Beach property in Río Grande.
To determine the winners, nearly 800,000 readers of the publication issued more than 1.3 million votes between nomination and selection of hotels and favorite destinations in 2013.
