Blue Martini San Juan set to open at Paseo Caribe
The much anticipated Blue Martini San Juan, the newest addition to the upscale lounge chain, is set to open its doors at the oceanfront Paseo Caribe development Mar. 25, following a $3 million investment.
Blue Martini San Juan joins 15 existing Blue Martini locations in cities across the United States and is the first to open outside the continental US. Founded 14 years ago by entrepreneur Mark Vasu, Blue Martini is known for offering an upscale environment with a local bar mentality, including live entertainment nightly, signature cocktails and an extensive menu.
The opening comes almost a year after the original scheduled date of April 2015. A change in the blueprint to include an outside terrace pushed back the chain’s arrival while it obtained the necessary permits and completed the project, this media outlet confirmed.
“We are excited to finally be able to bring the Blue Martini experience to the people of San Juan. We are known for providing quality entertainment in a safe environment, with a finely curated mix of music format, lightning scheme and bar layout, and we look forward to becoming the favorite spot of locals and tourists alike,” said Randy Martinez, general manager of Blue Martini San Juan.
Blue Martini San Juan is a state-of-the-art upscale lounge, boasting 6,000 square feet of entertainment space. Local construction, lighting and sound firms were engaged during the construction phase, which employed close to 100 workers.
A full staff of 75 employees has received extensive training to ensure the high level of service that distinguishes the Blue Martini experience. Blue Martini San Juan will open daily at 4 p.m.
