Telecommunications provider Claro and San Patricio Plaza executives announced Thursday that the carrier will be offering free Wi-Fi access to the mall’s food court patrons, who will be able to connect through any mobile device — smartphones, tablets and laptops.

“At Claro we’re committed to bringing the most advanced technology closer to citizens so they have access to digital tools that foster equitable socio-economic development,” Claro President Enrique Ortiz de Montellano, noting that users will “will experience an impressive navigation on mobile devices.”

By switching on the free Wi-Fi service at the food court, Claro resumes offering the service it provided for several years until recently.

“We’re pleased to offer our customers this service that will undoubtedly convert every visit to San Patricio Plaza into a different experience in the best environment,” said Miguel González, vice president of operations of Plaza Caparra, San Patricio Plaza’s parent company.

To connect to the free Wi-Fi service, users will need to accept the terms and conditions proposed by the wireless provider.
