P.R. Coffee Roasters to sell coffee brands on Amazon

Puerto Rico Coffee Roaster’s products are sold on Amazon.

Puerto Rico Coffee Roasters announced Tuesday it has reached an agreement to sell its flagship coffee brands — Café Yaucono, Café Rico and Café Crema — through the Amazon platform.

Making the products available on Amazon presents a “more viable option” for those living outside Puerto Rico since they can order their coffee at more affordable prices, said Jorge L. Hernández, manager of sales and export at Puerto Rico Coffee Roasters

“Amazon is one of the largest platforms in Internet sales, which facilitates the process of delivering our products in an easy and convenient way to homes abroad,” she said.

Hernández added that the option became available early this month, and the company has already received orders from more than 14 states, including Washington, California, New Jersey, Alabama, New York, Texas and military bases.

“In addition to providing more affordable options, we seek will increase the export of products for the benefit of those who are no longer on the island or for whom it is complicated to get,” he added.

Puerto Rico Coffee Roasters expects to continue expanding its product offering on Amazon, adding other brands.
