Advertising agency DDB Latina Puerto Rico announced Monday it has won the Impact Award, bestowed by parent agency DDB Worldwide in recognition of its commitment to the growth and development of its team, which leads to the creativity, innovation and service.

“Your commitment and follow-through to develop your people by providing creative mobility programs and training opportunities while strengthening the office culture have made you the clear winner of this award in the Latin America region,” said Juan Carlos Ortiz, president of DDB Latina, with 29 offices in 22 countries, including the Caribbean.

DDB Latina Puerto Rico was established in 2011, when DDB global conglomerate joined EJE Sociedad Publicitaria (founded in 1995) operations. It competed against 15 other countries in the Latin America region for the acknowledgement.

“This recognition reflects the magnitude of the local talent and reinforces the position of Puerto Rican creativity in a region with major advertising world powers, such as Brazil,” said José A. López, the agency’s general manager. “We are truly honored by this award, and we receive it enthusiastically on behalf of our team at DDB Latina Puerto Rico.”

Since 2009, DDB Worldwide awards the Impact Award each year to recognize an office in each of the regions where it has affiliated agencies that has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and a commitment to the growth and development of its team.
