Compulsory driver’s insurance provider Point Guard Insurance recently partnered with AT&T to outfit its adjusters with tablets, so they can process claims on site.

Our strategy for agility calls for integrating mobile tablet technology in the claims process offering a better and faster service to our customers,” said Luis Miranda, who along with Luis López and Javier Cortés founded the company in 2011.

With this new system, Point Guard adjusters work with equipment that allows them to perform, from anywhere, the complete claims process, including documenting the accident, taking pictures of the vehicle, completing the adjustment and taking digital signatures, as well as connecting to company servers in real time.

“Wireless connectivity is increasingly important for business to provide better and faster service to their customers,” said Edward Koerhuis, manager of AT&T Business Solutions in Puerto Rico.

“With AT&T’s reliable 4G LTE network we help clients access platforms and tools to run their businesses more efficiently at anytime and from virtually anywhere.” said Koerhuis.
