Liberty Business recently partnered with Blue Coat Systems, now part of Symantec, to launch Liberty Web Security, a tool that provides differentiated and personalized cloud security services that safeguard business customers’ Internet connection, the company announced.

These services include protection against cyber threats such as malware, ransomware and botnets, in addition to URL filtering and centralized reports. Liberty Web Security also enables customers to block unproductive content and protects their smart phones and computers while they are away from the office.

Liberty Business selected Blue Coat Web Security Service solution because it offers business owners an easy to manage solution that does not require local device deployment, or software downloads, upgrades or maintenance, and is low-cost and has flexible subscription prices, the provider said.

“Cloud security is a concern for many business owners, regardless of business size. Through this agreement with Blue Coat, we provide our customers with an advanced security solution that will give them the protection they need so their businesses can grow and prosper,” said Antonio Llona, vice president of Liberty Business.
