Loisaida Inc., a leader in intergenerational programming that supports the needs of the Latino community in New York City, announced Tuesday the expansion of its services to offer programming that equips entrepreneurs with the basic tools for success.

To usher the new offerings, the company has partnered with Sacred Heart University’s Collaborative Innovation Center, NEEUKO, to deliver “Analog STEAM+D,” a three-day entrepreneurship and innovation bootcamp tailored to the needs of bilingual and Latino creative entrepreneurs.

From May 6-8, aspiring entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial creatives will have the opportunity to delve into the innovation process, from conceptualization to implementation through workshops on design thinking, messaging, and opportunity recognition.

A unique aspect of the workshops, which will be bilingual friendly, is that emphasis will be placed on analog tools, with the goal of arming a new cadre of entrepreneurs with the skills to weather the new challenges modern changes bring. Ultimately, Analog STEAM + D provides a collaborative model for diverse neighborhoods to come together, exchange ideas, and ensure their sustainability.

“This exciting new relationship pushes collaborative innovation, particularly in the ways it can be applied in our Latino communities across the globe, to a new level. The exchange will form new bridges for innovation and entrepreneurship among our creative communities, and hopefully generate initiatives that will spearhead economic activity and improve the quality of life in both areas, ” said Gilberto Marxuach-Torrós, president of Sacred Heart University.
