Motorambar donates $40K to Hogares Rafaela Ybarra

Motorambar in Puerto Rico, which is celebrating 50 years of doing business on the island, recently celebrated the second edition of its Motorambar Charity Golf Tournament, through which it collected $40,000 that were donated to local nonprofit Hogares Rafaela Ybarra.

The event that took place at the Plantation golf course in Dorado, gathered company executives, network of dealers and business partners.

The $40,000 will go toward funding Hogares Rafaela Ybarra, which for more 65 years has provided home care and protection to girls and young women ages five to 18 who for different reasons lack one a home.

“Again, we extend our support to Hogares Rafaela Ybarra, who are about to make a dream come true with the construction and opening of its new facilities; full of love for girls and young women,” said José Ordeix, vice president of Motorambar Inc.

“At Motorambar we’re very excited about this project because it will be a blessing in their lives,” he said expressing appreciation for the support received from more than 45 companies and sponsors which, through their contributions, “demonstrated a genuine commitment to Puerto Rico and its people fulfilling the responsibility to support others in their time of greatest need.”
