Olive Garden eyes Dorado for 1st local restaurant

Popular sit-down Italian restaurant chain Olive Garden is looking to establish its first location on the island, at the Doramar Plaza mall in Dorado, News is my Business has learned.

The franchise, owned by Orlando-based Darden Restaurants Inc., has been pondering entering the island market for some time and is now seeking permits to do so. Darden already has experience in the Puerto Rico market, as it operates, among other businesses, the LongHorn Steakhouse restaurant chain.
