America Cruise Ferries, the company offering maritime connections between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, announced Thursday it has opened sales branches at the Walmart stores in Carolina and Santurce.

The authorized dealers will sell tickets for ferry travel, as well as provide information on current offers, company officials said. The in-store locations will operate Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Caribbean Fantasy ship connects the neighboring islands via a route that departs three times a week from the Panamerican Pier II in San Juan to the Don Diego Terminal in Santo Domingo, from which it returns in the same frequency.
