PetSmart announces its 11th store in Puerto Rico

Pets and their owners will have a full day of special activities at the new Carolina PetSmart location on July 19.

Pet specialty products retailer PetSmart announced the upcoming opening of its 11th store in Puerto Rico and the second location in Carolina. The new 16,080 square-foot store will open Monday at the Los Colobos Shopping Center in Carolina, where it will create 25 jobs.

Los Colobos Shopping Center store joins others already established in Señorial Plaza (Río Piedras), Plaza Río Hondo (Bayamón) and San Patricio Plaza (Guaynabo); Plaza Centro (Caguas); Plaza Escorial (Carolina); Plaza del Norte (Hatillo); Ponce Town Center (Ponce); Plaza Fajardo (Fajardo); Rexville Town Center (Bayamón) and Mayagüez Town Center (Mayagüez).

“At PetSmart we continue with our expansion plan thanks to the Pet Parents that sponsor our products and services. When clients look for better prices, variety, and qualty of services in the same place, PetSmart is the best option,” said Julio Reyes, general manager of PetSmart, in Puerto Rico.

During the “Grand Opening” event on July 19, pet parents and their pets will enjoy special offers: free photo buttons; orientation about grooming services; discount coupons; giveaways; sweepstakes; music and other surprises.
