Caribbean Property Group offered a preview of the third and newest residential tower to join the exclusive Paseo Caribe complex in San Juan, Bahía Plaza, where apartments will start at the low $400,000’s.

The oceanfront building offers one to three bedroom lofts and flats ranging from 700 to 2,820 square feet and caters to a “dynamic, vibrant and hip” buyer, company officials said Thursday.

The Paseo Caribe project comprises two other buildings — Caribe Plaza and Laguna Plaza — which went on sale in early 2012. The trio of apartment buildings offers breathtaking views of the Condado Lagoon, Miramar, the Convention Center district and the cruise ship docks along Old San Juan.

The Bahía Plaza building features apartments with high-end finishes, 24-hour concierge service, valet parking, a full gym, security and access to a 145,000 square-foot waterfront plaza that will accommodate between 45 and 50 high-end specialty shops, boutiques and restaurants, including contemporary Mexican restaurant, Rosa Mexicano, which is also being inaugurated this week.

“This is the first new housing development in the San Juan area in recent years and is the most vibrant new residential area on the island,” said John Tolbert, project director of Paseo Caribe. “We have not spared any details either in the housing units, or the common areas. The integration of housing, entertainment, dining and shopping, with its privileged location makes Bahía Plaza a unique place.”

The three model apartments open for showing at Bahía Plaza — as well as the lobby, the lounge and the pool area — were styled by “lifestyle curator” Aaron Stewart, to give off a modern and sophisticated vibe.
