4 new stores to open at The Mall of San Juan
As it approaches its first anniversary, The Mall of San Juan announced Thursday the addition of four new stores to its retail lineup. Opening soon will be Krispy Kreme, Letran Joyeros, Luis Antonio and Think Big Store.
“It’s been almost a year since we first opened our doors and we continue welcoming contemporary brands that differentiate our center in a more compelling way,” said Marnie Marquina, director of marketing and sponsorship of The Mall of San Juan.
“Our coveted mix of retail speaks of the uniqueness of the island and offers one-stop for shopping and dining,” she said.
One of the new tenants, Puerto Rican fashion designer Luis Antonio described his arrival to the mall as “a new space and a new vision of my brand. [I’m] very happy to be part of the great family of The Mall of San Juan.
The four new tenants will join others establishments that have opened recently, namely American Cut Bar & Grill, Aveda, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Corso Coffee, Daniel Espinosa Jewelry, Free People, Il Nuovo Mercato, Stuart Weitzman and Swatch.
Since the opening of the mall on Mar. 26, 2015, more than 80 stores and restaurants have opened in the center, with more than half of them exclusive to San Juan. However, several stores closed before their first anniversary, including men’s clothing store Camicissima, whose parent company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy late last year.
