Sports Authority, one of the largest full-line sporting goods retailers in the United States, announced Monday it will be hiring department managers for the company’s two newest locations in Plaza Las Américas and Plaza Carolina, which are set to open in early April 2014.

The retailer is looking for candidates who are “enthusiastic, eager to learn and passionate about sports.” Recruitment efforts for open management positions will continue through the first week of January 2014 and interested applicants are encouraged to send their resume to hrservices@aonhewitt.com, ATTN: Sports Authority/Plaza Las Americas or Carolina by Jan. 3, 2014.

Once management positions have been filled, Sports Authority plans to hire approximately 100 staff members for each of its new Puerto Rico stores, the company said

“We are excited to open our two new Sports Authority locations in Puerto Rico,” said Sports Authority Chief Executive Officer Michael E. Foss. “We are seeking candidates to join our team and support our mission of providing great value, great brands and outstanding customer service.”
