Casa Bacardí visitor center lands TripAdvisor award
TripAdvisor, the social network to hotels, most outstanding restaurants and attractions worldwide, recently awarded a “Certificate of Excellence” to the Casa Bacardí Visitor Center in Cataño, the distillery announced.
The accolade positions Casa Bacardí in a privileged place since the award given is a direct result of the continuing positive reviews visitors submitted to the TripAdvisor website.
With this, Casa Bacardí stands as one of the most important tourist attractions in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, drawing more than 250,000 visitors a year to learn about the rich history of the Bacardí family and brand, as well as its unique production.
“We are thrilled to have received this important recognition since the visitors themselves are the ones giving it to us,” said William Ramos, senior brand ambassador of Casa Bacardí, the largest premium rum distillery in the world.
“Everyday we strive to provide a unique and unforgettable experience for hundreds of visitors, both local and international, who come to our distillery and brand home. Knowing that our efforts are yielding positive results confirms that the recent changes we’ve made at Casa Bacardí are resonating with consumers,” he said.
The accolades, which marked its fifth edition, celebrates the hotels, restaurants and best attractions outlined by the public at TripAdvisor.
Casa Bacardí recently began a new chapter in its history with the renovation of the distillery and the introduction of new attractions. The improvements give the public an opportunity to meet new and oftentimes unknown facets of Bacardí rum, the Bacardí family and company.
Standing out as the second most visited tourist destinations in metro San Juan, Casa Bacardí industry is developing new attractions like Georgina, a new gastronomic restaurant that will highlight the culinary aspects of the local cuisine, using Bacardí rum as a special ingredient in some of the dishes.
