Looking to reinforce its commitment to the community, Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers will be hosting the 7th edition of the Coca-Cola Classic Golf Tournament on June 19 at the Palmas Athletic Club in Humacao.

Over the past six years, the Coca-Cola Classic Golf Tournament has raised more than $1 million that has been awarded to charities to help them continue to offer their services to the community.

“This year we have a goal of raising $350,000, which will be awarded to four nonprofit organizations,” said Brenda Sevillano, corporate controller for Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers, adding the Santa María Eufrasia Home, Friends of El Yunque Foundation, La Fondita de Jesús and Ser de Puerto Rico will benefit this year.

The tournament, which receives support from local and international customers and suppliers, will sign-up more than 200 players this year.

“The tournament not only represents Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers’ responsibility and social commitment, but of all the companies that participate every year, contributing to the benefit of our island,” she said.
