Compulsory auto insurance provider ASC extends hours

The Compulsory Insurance Joint Underwriters Association (known as ASC by its initials in Spanish) recently announced it has extended its call center hours in benefit of Puerto Rico clients.
Now ASC compulsory insurance policyholders and claimants have until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday to start the claim process by phone, get appointments and check the status of their claim. The call center’s number is 787-622-4242. The same services are also available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through www.ascteresponde.com.
The ASC is a private company that was established by law in 1995 to provide and manage the Compulsory Liability Insurance service in Puerto Rico.
