Convention Bureau participates in stateside trade show

The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau is representing the island during this year’s edition of the AIBTM, The Americas Meetings & Events Exhibition, taking place this week in Maryland. AIBTM is the first large-scale exhibition to bring together the world’s entire meetings and events industry a single location.

As part of its mission during the trade show that ends Thursday, participating Puerto Rico tourism executives will conduct one-on-one meetings with a pool of nearly 2,000 qualified meeting planner attendees, plus 1,000 additional meeting planner attendees. Participating in the trade show with the Bureau are representatives from the Puerto Rico Convention Center, the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino and Travel Services, Inc.

AIBTM 2011 attendees represent major decision-makers for meetings, incentives, conventions and business travel both in the U.S. and from key international markets.
