Doubletree by Hilton gets high marks for quality

The Condado-area hotel was reopened in December 2008 bearing the Doubletree flag.

The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel San Juan in Condado recently received an “outstanding” classification during a quality control evaluation by Hilton Hotels, Yodil Cabán, general manager of the hotel, said Tuesday.

During the most recent evaluation, the hotel scored 91.24 percent, considered outstanding by the chain. The evaluation took into account elements such as cleanliness, condition of the property and brand standards.

This is the first Doubletree by Hilton hotel established in the Caribbean and the fourth in Latin America. Since his conversion to the Doubletree by Hilton brand, the hotel has positioned itself among the top Doubletree properties by maintaining the highest quality and service standards consistent with the brand, company officials said.
