United Airlines relocates counters at LMM Airport
United offers non-stop flights from LMM Airport to its principal hubs on the U.S. mainland.
United Airlines announced Wednesday the relocation of its check-in and service counters at the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Carolina.
The new location is in Terminal B, with space for customers and a total of 10 self-service kiosks that provide easier and faster check-in for flights. There are also 14 customer service stations for those travelers who require special care or service, the airline said.
“These changes enable United to offer an even more flyer-friendly experience to our customers,” said Orlando Córdova, the airline’s general manager of airport operations. “The new self-service kiosks and other facilities demonstrate our commitment to providing them with a fast and convenient check-in process.”
United began operations in Puerto Rico in 1991. Today, the airline offers non-stop flights from LMM Airport to its principal hubs at Newark Liberty International Airport, Houston Intercontinental Airport, Washington Dulles Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
United also offers non-stop flights from Rafael Hernández International Airport in Aguadilla to Newark Liberty, as well as seasonal flights from San Juan to Cleveland.
