Bravo Family Foundation launches Bravo Pathway program

Bravo Pathway is part of the Bravo Family Foundation’s efforts to expand education access and support public high school students across Puerto Rico.

The Bravo Family Foundation has launched Bravo Pathway, a long-term program to support public high school students in Puerto Rico from 11th grade through early college.

The initiative provides a structured process focused on self-discovery, academic reinforcement, career exploration and financial planning to help students access and complete a university education, according to the foundation.

Bravo Pathway is the Empowering Young Entrepreneurs (EYES) program’s longest-running effort, created to address gaps in long-term support for public high school students across the island.

The program begins with a summer boot camp and expands during 11th and 12th grade and into the first year of college. Participants also receive ongoing mentorship and resources throughout their college journey.

The initial phase includes a one-week summer camp on identity, academics, career planning and finances. During the school year, students attend weekly virtual sessions, monthly in-person gatherings and conversational English classes based on their proficiency level.

Bravo Pathway currently supports 18 students in 11th grade from public schools in Fajardo, Yabucoa, Las Piedras, Caguas, Toa Alta and Villalba. Students were selected through a competitive review process, the foundation said.

“Bravo Pathway represents a direct commitment to talented youth, ensuring they can make informed decisions and build a strong, purpose-driven academic future,” said Blanca Santos, CEO of Bravo Family Foundation.

“This is not just an academic program, it’s a human-centered journey,” said Program Director Francisco González. “It’s a guide to help students understand themselves, uncover their interests and strengths, and develop the tools they need to navigate the college experience with confidence.”

The program joins the Bravo Family Foundation’s broader efforts to expand education access, promote equity and support students contributing to Puerto Rico’s future.

Bravo!!!!! This program is not just preparing students for college — it’s empowering them to navigate life with clarity, confidence, and community. A powerful example of how philanthropy can catalyze systemic transformation through strategic, ethical leadership.
