Hertz, Budget, Avis move into LMM central rental area
The car rental service center operates 24/7, and is located on the first level of the parking lot across from Terminal C.
Car rental companies Hertz, Budget Rent-a-Car and Avis Car Rental joined the list of companies that provide vehicle rental services from the first level of the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport multistory parking, joining Alamo Rent a Car, National Car Rental and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
“We made arrangements with the different car rental companies to provide more amenities and options to passengers. We continue to work to provide the passenger all the services they need at their arrival and departure from the airport,” said Agustín Arellano, CEO of Aerostar Airport Holdings, which manages Puerto Rico’s main airport.
Previously, passengers with reservations had to be picked up in a rental company bus to get to the provider’s offices. Now that companies have their desks at the first level of the parking facility, passengers can walk to the service center, to rent and return the vehicles faster and more efficiently, he said.
