Caguas, TweetMyJobs launch online job-seeking solution

Caguas residents will be able to tap into available job opportunities via http://caguas.tweetmyjobs.com.

The Caguas municipal government announced Monday it has struck a partnership with the TweetMyJobs social recruiting platform to connect local businesses with town residents seeking jobs across all industries and all levels, city officials announced.

The Caguas TweetMyJobs platform is “an easy to use and free tool available to any citizen looking for a job and any company looking to hire staff in the Caguas metro area.”

El en línea platform will be in Spanish and designed for easy use from a computer or a smartphone. By offering the service, Caguas seeks to provide local employers of all sizes with free access to the same cutting edge tools that Fortune 500 companies currently use.

This technology is revolutionizing recruitment by delivering to job seekers relevant job listings instantly, directly and via whatever medium they prefer — be it Facebook, Twitter, email or mobile — and taking advantage of the social graph to enable job referrals and introductions.

Meanwhile, employers using the platform gain the opportunity, at no cost, to recruit socially, thereby reaping the competitive advantage of more qualified candidates faster.

The Caguas TweetMyJobs platform is also designed to generate employment statistics to give the government a better idea of who is hiring. Employers will be able to access reports showing the number of jobs posted over time as well as the type, industry and location of available opportunities, while job seekers will be able to find out the type of positions being sought, the level of the position and the industries in which they may want to work.

Individuals who register for the service will receive relevant job matches instantly by e-mail, text message, or from social networks like Twitter and Facebook.
