Clair Global adquiere la empresa puertorriqueña Wichie Sound Performance
Clair Global, an international provider of audio services, has acquired Wichie Sound Performance Inc., a Puerto Rico-based company with nearly four decades of experience in the live events industry.
Founded 37 years ago by Fernando “Wichie” Martínez, Wichie Sound built a strong reputation working with top artists including Ricky Martin, Carlos Vives, Romeo Santos, Luis Fonsi, Robi Draco Rosa, Ednita Nazario and Bad Bunny. The latter is set to begin a two-month residency in San Juan in July, highlighting the island’s growing role in the global live music scene.
As part of the acquisition, Martínez will continue to lead the local operation under the new name, Clair Global Puerto Rico. The existing Wichie Sound staff will remain in place and join the Clair Global team, company officials said.

The integration aims to combine local expertise with global resources to support the region’s touring and live events market. Clair Global emphasized its confidence in the cultural fit between the two companies.
