Sun West closes 95% of Ciudadela mortgage loans

Sun West Mortgage Company Inc. announced Monday it has closed 95 percent of the mortgage loans filed for apartments at the Ciudadela high-rise in Santurce.
“We’re extremely proud to work closely with a great team at Ciudadela and be the mortgage bank for a project that marks the rebirth of Santurce,” said Hari Agarwal, president of Sun West Mortgage Company Inc. “Our 35 years in Puerto Rico brings the necessary experience to collaborate efficiently in developments such as Ciudadela.”

Sun West currently has two branches on the island and 28 branches in the United States, an operation that has been overseen from Puerto Rico for the past year and which it will be recruiting more than 200 employees over the next six months.
