Copa Airlines increases Las Vegas/Panama frequencies
Copa will operate a Boeing 737-800 Next-Generation aircraft on the flight, with seating for 16 passengers in Business Class and 144 in the main cabin to offer the connection.
Copa Airlines announced Monday it will increase frequency of its nonstop service between Las Vegas, Nevada, and the airline’s hub in Panama on Dec. 13. The airline will add a nonstop flight on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays to complement existing daily nonstop service between Las Vegas and Panama.
“We’re very proud to announce Copa will increase nonstop travel options for our business and leisure passengers,” said Joseph Mohan, commercial and planning vice president, Copa Airlines. “Our Las Vegas service is the fastest and most direct way to reach Panama, as well as nine cities in Colombia, seven in Brazil, three in Venezuela, two in Ecuador, and many other destinations in Latin America – without customs/immigration waits for in-transit passengers.”
The new Copa flight (457) will depart McCarran International Airport’s Terminal 3 in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:33 p.m., arriving at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City the next day at 8 a.m. The return flight (456) will depart Panama at 6:40 p.m., arriving in Las Vegas at 10:46 p.m. Copa will operate a Boeing 737-800 Next-Generation aircraft on the flight, with seating for 16 passengers in Business Class and 144 in the main cabin.
The new service will complement Copa’s existing daily nonstop service from Las Vegas to Panama. Copa Airlines’ service to Las Vegas, its seventh U.S. destination, began in June 27, 2012 and was the first nonstop flight between Las Vegas and Panama.
