Rock Solid to create 100 jobs in 3 years, expands office

After signing a contract to export human capital services with Fortis TCI, an electricity provider in the Caribbean, Puerto Rican company Rock Solid Technologies Inc., signed an agreement with the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company to create 100 new computer engineering jobs over the next 36 months.
Angel Pérez, vice president of Rock Solid and Pridco Executive Director Antonio Medina-Comas, announced the signing of the agreement at the inauguration of the company’s newly expanded headquarters in located at the Economic Development Bank building in Guaynabo. The expansion comprises 8,000 square feet of new space.
In recent years, Rock Solid has achieved ongoing growth and through the agreement with Pridco expects to surpass the 200 jobs over the next three years. At present, the company has 95 employees working in Puerto Rico. The company also has operations in Texas and Barbados, where it has another 14 employees.
“Since our founding in 1994 as a Puerto Rican information systems development company, we have continued to grow thanks to the local talent, engineers who have graduated in Puerto Rico, and who are now part of a great team that is already exporting its knowledge to 20 countries. With this agreement with Pridco, we ensure that this growth will continue and we reaffirm our commitment to Puerto Rico,” said Pérez.
