SBA offers social media crisis communications webinar

Whether it’s a fast-moving storm, a power outage or an in-house crisis, providing clients and business partners status updates is key to the survival of an organization. Social media is an essential crisis communications tool, but developing an effective plan may seem like a challenging task.
On Feb. 10, the SBA will co-host a free webinar with Agility Recovery Get to offer tips on creating a crisis communications plan using social media. The discussion will include:
- The value of social media and its use in crisis situations
- Simple first steps any organization can take to build their presence
- Tips on using social media to bolstering your crisis communications plan
A question and answer session will follow the presentation scheduled to take place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for Puerto Rico residents.)
