DDR to host ‘Community Day’ at 4 shopping centers
DDR Puerto Rico is inviting nonprofit organizations to join its Community Day event as a part of the “Juntos por tu Comunidad” (“Together for your community”) program, which brings together several initiatives focused in contributing with communities welfare through educational and charitable activities in socio-educational, health, comprehensive development of children, culture, and environmental areas.
Community Day will be held April 1-3 at four shopping malls: Plaza Rio Hondo, Plaza del Sol, Plaza Palma Real and Plaza del Norte.
This initiative allows eligible entities to have an informative booth at the selected shopping malls in order to recruit voluntaries/members, raise funds and present informative material about how the organization contributes to community well-being and (citizens’quality of life) lifestyle of the citizens.
Because DDR’s shopping centers are committed to communities, it is extending an invitation to nonprofit organizations to be a part of “Community Day,” mall executives said.
