Dorado Beach takes ‘Best Achievement in Design’ award
The sprawling Dorado Beach is enclaved on 1,400 acres of pristine beachfront property.
International luxury travel network Virtuoso announced the winners of the 2013 “Best of the Best” hotel awards at its 25th annual Virtuoso Travel Week conference held in Las Vegas this week.
Virtuoso selected 10 winners from the network’s Hotels & Resorts Program, a portfolio of 983 hotels, resorts, villas and private island retreats in 100 countries. Among them is the Dorado Beach, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve, which took the “Best Achievement in Design” nod.

The Dorado property was included a list of winning properties from France, Italy, Scotland, Nicaragua, India, the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and China.
The 2013 “Best of the Best” award recipients will be featured in the September/October 2013 issue of “Virtuoso Life” magazine, reaching 200,000 upscale, world travelers.
It is steps away from the Atlantic Ocean, not the Caribbean Sea.
