Expedia launches direct communication tool for hoteliers
The Expedia group, one of the world’s leading travel companies, has begun its rollout of Expedia PartnerCentral (EPC) Conversations, which can benefit its Caribbean hotel partners, including those in Puerto Rico, through from better dialogue and engagement with booked guests.
EPC Conversations, accessible through Expedia PartnerCentral, is designed to be an easy to use platform that opens the lines of communication between booked guests and hoteliers via a message center.
“Puerto Rico continues to be an in-demand market on Expedia sites. The ability to communicate with booked guests is something hoteliers from all over the world have long requested,” said Benoit Jolin, vice president of Global Product for Expedia. “EPC Conversations is the answer to that demand.”
This is a value-driven tool for Puerto Rico’s hoteliers to take advantage of because it provides the opportunity for dialogue with booked guests to increase engagement, he said.
“To continue to drive demand to our hotel partners in Puerto Rico, hoteliers must be equipped with the latest tools to assure that they can capture market share and fully understand the needs of their guests,” Jolin said, adding the tool is available in various languages including Spanish and English.
The initial rollout of Expedia PartnerCentral Conversations started in January to a select number of hotels.
