FirstBank hace un llamado al público para que done en apoyo a los pacientes con cáncer de Puerto Rico.
FirstBank Puerto Rico has renewed its role as sponsoring bank of the “Da Vida Caminando con Raymond” initiative, which supports the Puerto Rican League Against Cancer and Hospital Oncológico Dr. Isaac González Martínez, the only institution in Puerto Rico dedicated exclusively to treating cancer and related complications.
The bank is inviting the public to donate at any FirstBank branch by depositing to account No. 3004870858. Contributions can also be made electronically through ATH Móvil by selecting the “donate” option and entering LIGACANCERPR.
“Every contribution raised through this initiative helps strengthen medical services, treatments and quality of life for patients and families facing one of the most difficult life challenges,” the bank said in a statement.
The walk, led by comedian Raymond Arrieta, will begin Aug. 27 and run through Nov. 17, drawing thousands of supporters. FirstBank described participation as “an act of solidarity that can make a big difference in the lives of those who need it the most.”
“With this initiative, FirstBank is honoring its genuine commitment to the well-being of Puerto Rican society,” the bank said, urging the public to “donate and be part of this effort that represents an act of solidarity and hope.”
