InterCaribbean Airways announces new San Juan route
InterCaribbean Airways is the national carrier of the Turks & Caicos islands.
InterCaribbean Airways, formerly known as Air Turks & Caicos, recently announced new air service schedules connecting San Juan to Puerto Plata and Samaná in the Dominican Republic, and for the first time, a flight connection between the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos Islands, starting Jan. 20.
Citizens, residents and visitors of Puerto Rico looking to create new business and leisure opportunities can take advantage of the new flights that can already be booked, the company said.
“Flights from San Juan to Providenciales offer immediate connections to Nassau, Bahamas and Kingston, Jamaica making connections to islands within the Caribbean a reality,” the company said in a statement.
InterCaribbean Airways is the national carrier of the Turks & Caicos islands and operates a fleet of Embraer 120 and Beech 99 aircraft for flights to Grand Turk and South Caicos, and international flights to Santo Domingo, Puerto Plata, Santiago in the Dominican Republic, to Cap Haitien, Port Au Prince in Haiti, to Kingston, Jamaica to Nassau, the Bahamas and San Juan starting later this month.
The new air service schedules connect San Juan with non-stop flights to Puerto Plata and to Samaná in the Dominican Republic and additional flights from Puerto Plata to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands.
