Royal Isabela on TripAdvisor’s ‘Top Luxury Hotels’ list

Royal Isabela has been named fourth best among the “Top 25 Luxury Hotels in the Caribbean” for 2014 by TripAdvisor, becoming the only Puerto Rico property included in the category. Furthermore, Royal Isabela, which opened in 2012, was rated number 11 among the many small hotels in the Caribbean.
The honor is part of TripAdvisor’s 12th annual Travelers’ Choice awards for hotels, with winners determined based on the reviews and opinions of millions of TripAdvisor travelers around the globe. The world’s most outstanding properties were identified in several categories, including luxury.
The property was singled out as a “beautiful honeymoon destination” and a “beautiful getaway resort, especially if you love golf.” Last fall, Royal Isabela was named “Puerto Rico’s Leading Golf Resort” at the World Travel Awards Caribbean and North American Gala.
Twenty one-bedroom casitas, each with expansive indoor and outdoor space, as well as private pools, ocean views, and access to the resort’s many amenities, are the hallmark of Royal Isabela’s offerings.
Headlining those amenities is the golf course, called Golf Links at Royal Isabela, a magnificent beauty that sprawls across acres of native grasses, natural sand dunes, and craggy cliffs that soar 300 feet above the Caribbean Sea. The course was designed by the owners of the resort, brothers Charles and Stanley Pasarell, in association with the late David W. Pfaff.
