JetBlue starts selling Chicago/San Juan flights

JetBlue Airways announced Wednesday that its new daily nonstop service from Chicago’s O’Hare to San Juan, set to begin Nov. 20, is now out for sale.
Customers can libro sale fares from $119 one-way between Chicago and San Juan through April 9, 2013 for travel between Dec. 3 and Dec. 18, 2013. Fare includes government taxes and fees.
“We’re pleased to kick off this service with our low fares, which will enable Chicago’s Puerto Rican community to visit their loved ones and Chicagoans to explore the Island of Enchantment,” said JetBlue’s Director of Network Planning, John Checketts. “We’re sure our customers will continue to enjoy our great product and the best experience in the skies, to and from Chicago.”
JetBlue’s scheduled flight from San Juan to Chicago on an Airbus A320 aircraft departs at 3:50 p.m., arriving at the Windy City at 7 p.m. On the return, the flight leaves Chicago at 9:30 a.m. and arrives to the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport at 4:10 p.m.
JetBlue currently flies to 14 nonstop destinations out of LMM, 10 within the continental U.S.: Boston, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Hartford, Jacksonville, New York, Newark, Orlando, Tampa, Washington D.C. (Reagan National) and West Palm Beach, and four within the Caribbean: Santo Domingo, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and St. Croix.
