Kia Motors Puerto Rico presenta el modelo Rio de quinta generación.

Rio Quinto 2012

Kia Motors Puerto Rico recently introduced to market the fifth generation of one of its most popular models, the Kia Rio. Quinto is the new, redesigned version of the Rio five-door that promises greater fuel efficiency, security and convenience for the consumer.

The fifth generation of the Rio has a European style, unique in its class, and a modern, sporty and youthful design. Its exterior exhibits the tiger-nose grille, the emblematic feature that represents the evolution in design of the Kia models, the company said upon announcing the vehicle’s arrival to the local market.

After four generations of the Rio, Kia has a completely redesigned car with a unique and different style and features that make this new generation a modern, youthful and daring one.

“As in any family, ‘there is always one’ that is different from rest; one that manages to break the pattern and set itself apart, thus exceling,” the company said. “Rio Quinto is that which is modern, fresh, bold and striking, yet it remains safe, economical and efficient. This allows its generation to be distinctive, changing the rules from the previous generations.”

The newest incarnation of the Rio Quinto has an almost endless list of improvements to its interior features as well as its under-the-hood capacity. The model, available in three trims  — EX, LX and SX — runs on a lighter engine that incorporates better fuel efficiency and more power.

Rio Quinto has capacity for five passengers and its folding rear seats offer more storage space and accommodate loads. The car provides entertainment and convenience to the driver with features such as audio control, Bluetooth, cruise control, iPod and USB connection, cruise computer (SX trim) and Sirius Satellite Radio AM/FM, MP3 and CD player.
