Mitsubishi Motors partners with Guayacán to award special prize
Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Caribbean Inc. recently partnered with Grupo Guayacán to sponsor the “Drive your Ambition Award” in the EnterPRrize 2024 competition, as part of its broader “Mi Society” corporate social responsibility program.
“Mi Society” is based on “CREAS” three key pillars to enrich society: Economic Growth, Environment, and Health. The program aims to show “care for the community, to generate a positive impact on society by promoting sustainability, health, and responsible environmental practices.”
In the same way, the automaker “wants to develop the aspirations and the needs of society from a global perspective with the social responsibility program.”
Through its partnership with Guayacán, Mitsubishi will offer coaching to competition participants. The award will be awarded to an emerging company “that exemplifies the values of integrity, sustainability and authenticity that is in line with the values of Mitsubishi Motors,” company officials said.
Madelene Nieves, vice president of MMSC said the “‘Drive your Ambition Award’ prize will be awarded to the emerging company whose venture has a global perspective and seeks to expand its business and service in Puerto Rico and other markets around the world.”
Through the corporate social responsibility program, “Mi Society” MMSC will continue supporting new generations in economic development and will collaborate in initiatives that promote a better environment and better health in Puerto Rico, the company executive said.
