Office Depot to honor local educators during ‘Teacher Appreciation Week’
The five local Office Depotstores will mark “Teacher Appreciation Week” from July 29 to Aug. 4, and all will host “Teacher Appreciation Breakfasts” Aug. 4.
Office supplies and services retailer Office Depot will be hosting thousands of teachers at select retail stores across the U.S. and Puerto Rico as part of its annual “Teacher Appreciation Week” event.
In an effort to alleviate educators from digging deep in their own pockets, and to save them precious time during the chaotic back-to-school season, Office Depot is offering discounts, special offers, giveaways and a free breakfast to teachers across the United States and Puerto Rico.
The five local stores will mark “Teacher Appreciation Week” from July 29 to Aug. 4, and all will host “Teacher Appreciation Breakfasts” Aug. 4, Office Depot announced.
Now in its ninth year, Office Depot’s “Teacher Appreciation Week” events are opportunities for teachers to network, discuss classroom decorations, learn about the newest tech gadgets and school supplies, and get excited for the school year ahead.
Meanwhile, to help teachers decrease their out-of-pocket expenses, Office Depot is offering new and existing members of its Star Teacher Program an instant 20 percent discount on regularly priced, qualifying in-store purchases during the week.
“Office Depot recognizes the dedication that Star Teachers demonstrate throughout the school year, and this is just a small way of saying thank you,” said Adriana Vethencourt, director of loyalty marketing for Office Depot. “It is our hope that ‘Teacher Appreciation Week’ and the ‘Star Teacher Program’ make back-to-school shopping convenient by saving time and money for teachers.”
