OfficeMax launches products, services for Puerto Rico small businesses
OfficeMax will offer its new bundles and services at its 13 local stores.
OfficeMax announced Tuesday several new products and services to help small businesses in Puerto Rico find success “in a competitive environment in which entrepreneurs usually need to multitask and take on a variety of roles within their business.”
The lineup of products and services ranges from website design and hosting, tech and IT solutions and support, print and document services in addition to office supplies, computer hardware and software, to solution-oriented advice from associates.
“We aim to be a partner for our business customers, with products and services to help them in their day-to-day operations and to assist them in their success,” said Rafael Flores, OfficeMax district manager for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. “Bringing these new offerings to our Puerto Rico stores is the first of many steps we’re taking to provide entrepreneurs with industry-leading solutions for starting, running and growing their business.”
To kick off the new program, OfficeMax will offer a free Microsoft Windows training session and demos this Saturday. There will be four one-hour sessions — at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. — at each of the chain’s 13 local stores.
The retailer will also begin offering GoDaddy website bundles to help businesses register their domain name, create a professional website and maximize their business visibility on Internet search engines. There are no monthly service fees and OfficeMax store associates will help businesses select the Go Daddy website bundle that best meets their needs.
Finally, through the “MiMedia” cloud services OfficeMax stores will provide businesses and consumers with an easy-to-use and cost-effective way to automatically back-up, store, access and share their files on demand – including many popular business files and presentations, and even music, videos and photos for personal use.
