Oriental’s ‘Quick Deposit’ service expands to more ATMs
Oriental invested more than $1 million to extend its “Quick Deposit” service to more ATMs.
Oriental bank announced Monday that it’s “Quick Deposit” service is now available in 21 additional full-service ATMs, for a total of 25 located throughout the island.
The expansion comes with an investment of more than $1 million, bank officials confirmed.
Through this service, Oriental customers can deposit multiple checks or bills without a deposit slip, 24 hours a day.
“We invest in technology to provide greater benefits to our customers. For example, the immediate availability of cash deposits, the ability to deposit several bills and checks in a single transaction and more importantly, we managed to extend our service hours since the deposited check is registered in the customer’s account on the same day, if deposited before 9 p.m.,”said Idalis Montalvo, vice president of marketing and public relations for Oriental.
With “Quick Deposit,” customers may deposit up to 30 bills or 10 checks in a single transaction. They need to select the deposit option on the screen and enter checks or bills in the slot provided.
The screen will confirm the deposit instantly and customers will be able to see the picture at the bottom of the printed receipt.
