Engineering students had the opportunity to listen to Bob Witwer, vice president of advanced technology at Honeywell Aerospace, who gave a lecture on how to develop a successful career in the engineering field and also wrapped up the day with a lecture entitled “Technology and Innovation in Aerospace.” Also on hand was Fernando Otero, sales director at Honeywell, who presented the “Innovation in automated monitoring solutions and control” conference.

“We are very proud that Honeywell chose us to conduct this event we know is offered at the most prestigious universities in the nation,” said Polytechnic University President Ernesto Vázquez-Barquet.

“Our students were able to hear professionals talk about the opportunities that the industry has for them and especially learn from their experience,” he added.
