La PRMA debatirá los retos y las estrategias para hacer frente a las amenazas cibernéticas.
Online cyber attacks skyrocketed by 81 percent in 2011 affecting organizations of all sizes and types worldwide, according to software giant Symantec.
En una economía en la que las comunicaciones electrónicas son un pilar fundamental, es esencial saber cómo desarrollar estrategias para mantener buenas prácticas de ciberseguridad.
To address the issue, the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association will host a panel of cyber experts who will discuss the “Challenges, threats and strategies in the face of an imminent cyber attack” on June 12, from 8 am to 12 noon, at the Puerto Rico Museum Art.
This seminar will present legal alternatives and financial techniques that are available in preparation for a possible cyber attack.
Guest speakers have a wide range of experience in cyber security issues both in Puerto Rico, the U.S. mainland and Europe. Scheduled to speak are: Luis Sánchez, who worked as special advisor of the Cyeer Sub Terrorism Committee of the National Security Council under the George W. Bush administration; Alex Dasilva, FBI agent with experience in cyber situations; Andrés Colón, director of Information Technology for the government of Puerto Rico; Attorney Julizzette Colon-Bilbraut, founder of the first social intelligence company in the Caribbean; and Belén Navarro, with experience in cyber situations in the European market.
