Royal Isabela among TripAdvisor’s ‘Top Small Hotels’

Royal Isabela, the world-class golf and private membership club perched on the coastline of northwest Puerto Rico, has been included in TripAdvisor’s list of “Top 25 Small Hotels in the Caribbean” for the third consecutive year.
It was the only Puerto Rico property recognized in that category for 2016, hotel officials said.
The honor is part of TripAdvisor’s 14th annual Travelers’ Choice awards for hotels, with winners determined based on the reviews and opinions of millions of TripAdvisor travelers around the globe. The world’s most outstanding properties were identified in several categories, including luxury.
The property features 20 one-bedroom casitas, each with expansive indoor and outdoor space, as well as private plunge pools, ocean views, fresh sea air, and easy access to the resort’s many amenities. Headlining those features is the property’s golf course, the Golf Links at Royal Isabela” designed by the owners of the resort, brothers Charles and Stanley Pasarell, in association with the late David W. Pfaff.
