Schoolbell.net has released its 2025 list of the 10 Best Private Schools in Puerto Rico, ranking institutions based on a contextual reputation score that measures online credibility, visibility and trustworthiness.

The annual list is intended to help families better understand how private schools are perceived as they evaluate enrollment options.

According to Schoolbell.net, the rankings are generated through a proprietary methodology that combines publicly available information with internal metrics. The company said each list relies on “a single core data source,” which may include publicly available information or one of its own evaluation tools, such as the Contextual Reputation Score.

The score assesses how schools are perceived online by measuring factors such as “credibility, visibility and digital perception” among comparable institutions. The approach is intended to provide “a consistent and comparative view” of how private schools are regarded.

Baldwin School of Puerto Rico ranked first with a score of 100, followed by Saint John’s School at 99.7 and TASIS Dorado at 98.9. Washburn School placed fourth with a score of 97.5, and Caguas Private School ranked fifth at 95.7.

“Families exploring private education options in Puerto Rico deserve clear, reliable insights,” a Schoolbell.net spokesperson said. “Our 2025 rankings are designed to spotlight schools that consistently demonstrate strong reputations and educational value, making the school selection process more transparent and accessible.”

The remaining schools in the top 10 are Palermo Private School, with a score of 93.3; Commonwealth-Parkville School, 90.4; Robinson School, 87.0; Dorado Academy, 83; and Cupeyville School, 75.

Schoolbell.net said the rankings are intended to provide a comparative snapshot of how private schools are viewed across digital platforms rather than a comprehensive evaluation of academic performance.
