Seaborne Airlines ranks 6th in ‘storylines to watch’ list

Seaborne is among Caribbean Journal’s top stories to watch.

Miami-based online publication Caribbean Journal recently ranked Seaborne Airlines in 6^th place in its list of the top 21 storylines to watch in 2014.

The past year has been a busy one for the regional carrier, which last month announced the move of its headquarters from St. Croix, to San Juan in the first quarter of this year, committing to 400 jobs in Puerto Rico as part of the arrangement.

Seaborne has been growing rapidly in the Caribbean and recently announced its 16th airport destination — St. Maarten, which will launch March 1.

The same publication named Seaborne CEO Gary Foss to its list of most interesting people in the Caribbean.

“This is a testimony to the quality product that the people of Seaborne Airlines are delivering, day after day, at a time that people in the Caribbean are looking for more schedule options.,” said Jaime López, Seaborne’s chief financial officer.
